Jesus said, “Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will preserve it.” Sometimes giving your all and your best is better than receiving a gift from others. So says the one who gave his life on the cross so that others may live. For the believer in Christ, death has a sweet smell mixed in with the mourning and pain. It smells like VICTORY! Because Christ has overcome death and the grave, because he is the resurrection and the life, the follower of Christ has a hope that sustains him.
Join us as we learn more about the faithfulness of God in this Lenten season as we build our anticipation and hope toward Easter morning.
