Cran-Hill Ranch Family Winterfest

Set your calendars now for the family event that everyone has been talking about. The 4th annual Cran-Hill Ranch Family Winterfest. Take your choice of three snowhills for sledding, go on a wagon ride, walk in snowshoes, race a dog sled, and go cross country skiing as a family. Then go inside for a warm meal and some hot chocolate. The fun continues with indoor famly favorites like air hockey and table tennis.

‘Tis the Season to Embellish – Lisa Vandertol and the handbell choir she is a part of will hold a beautiful Christmas concert at Mayflower congregational Church, 2345 Robinson Rd. Car Wash for World Vision 30 Hour Famine

When: Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 10 a.m. to noon

Where: Fellowship Church’s Parking Lot

There will be a free will donation car wash being put on by Ferris State University students. The donations collected will go to World Vision (a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice). These students are participating in the 30 Hour Famine, going without food for 30 hours to raise awareness of the more than a billion people around the world who experience hunger every day. Please come out and support the students and the cause.

St. Peters’ 21st Annual Fall Fashion Show

St. Peters’ 21st annual fall fashion show,” From Sea to Shining Sea”, will be held on Sat., Oct. 29th from 11-3 at the Holiday Inn in Big Rapids. It includes the silent auction, luncheon, fashion show, and a chance to win some great “Grand Prizes”. We have reserved a table for ladies from our church. If you would like to sit with us, please see Valisa Vanderhill soon, so we can be sure we have enough seats reserved.
